Annual Wine Festival.
The annual Wine Festival has taken place
in Culoz since 1993 and is an excellent occasion for tourists
to discover not only the area but also the traditions of the
region.
Entry is free - all you have to do is to purchase one of the
special commemorative (dated) wine
glasses to allow you to sample wines at all the
stands.
The festival hosts some sixty exhibitors:
- Wine-producers from Bugey and Savoie
- Regional food producers (cheese, charcuterie, honey, cakes, chocolate, etc.)
- Leisure and hobby societies, allowing tourists to learn of the facilities in the area and the recreational possibilities.
Entertainment from numerous artists is provided free throughout the day:
- Music from the jazz-band "Sweet Mary Cat", the Batterie-Fanfare de Culoz and a different traditional music group each year.
- Introduction to wine-tasting presented by a Master of wine (Maître-Sommelier), etc.

11:00 Official visit by the Confréries du Bugey et de la Savoie and the local councillors
11:30 Apéritif & concert
12:00 Lunch in a marquee
All day long : Non-stop entertainment
20:00 Supper in a marquee followed by a free dance.
